How to get a new birth certificate?

Hello,

I need a birth certificate for my 3 years old child - born in Bangkok to non-Thai parents.

It seems that I lost the birth certificate I got from the appropriate office when she was born and I'm left only with an attested copy but with expired attestation.

1 Where and how can I get a new original?

2. Is it possible to get it in Phuket where I currently reside?
