""He's been told to look into the case""

But what does that actually mean ?? ""Look into the case""

Means the opposite of "look outside the box"

Keep looking into the case, "Ostrich style", they will soon forget gigglem.gif

The Buzz at HQ:

#1 We'd better take a good hard look into this case or we'll have a bunch of angry farang on our hands

#2:Oh NO! we can't have that -- better put things into high-gear.

Ah, so the Pol Lt-Gen did not get a cut yet?

Bold font removed.

This Red Bull Ferrari cop killing hit and run as well as obstruction of justice by the local police commander attempting to get the staff to take the fall and obstructing justice. This case is the epitome of Thai cronyism, selectivity and elite privilege with impunity.

Red Bull is not a Thai company. It's owned by Austrians.

I'm sure very big bribe money has already been paid to several higher ups, so there's no way this killer will ever be bought to justice.

Yes but as with any organised group the gravy trail never stops, once you buy into their club they gotcha i guess its like shaking the begging bowl.

"Pol Gen Chakthip Chaichinda insisted that police had treated all cases without any discrimination or favoritism."

Awww.....BULLSH!T!

I have just p-ssed myself laughing at that utter <deleted>.

Lets hope the Pink Bentley Panther is not on this case.

Why is it that the police of this country always have to be told to do their job. It seems that the benz driver has opened up a can of worms about the other murderous little sh its that the police were trying to ignore.

Cancel the <deleted> passport then I will start to believe you.

Sorry to bring this up again, but you told I me that I would get a bite of the cherry

He is in Singapore right now so any movement will be mute

This guy need to be in jail

And while you are about it what is happening about the luxury imported car part scam that former rogue DSI Tarit was working on , if something doesn't happen soon we will all forget, and we can't have that happening , can we.............................cheesy.gif

And if he stays out of Thailand for 15 years all charges are dropped under the statute of limitation laws. Problem is the passport will expire in 5 years and he has to renew it.

Then again, when you're part of a Family of Billionaires in Thailand, you can pretty much do anything, if he was a guy with no wealth or connections he'd have probably been found dead in Police custody the next day, or in jail serving a very long Jail sentence.

That's why the rich of this country love the corruption, the poor are oppressed and scared shitless of the Police and Army, the rich do as they please and are protected by the same organisations, that's why it will never end, the poor can't protest against the injustices, laws have been created to stop any protest, you have to hand it to the Elite and their corrupt protectors, they have it pretty much sewn up.

After all this time, it is an absolute disgrace that this piece of **** is still a free man.

If the BIB drag their feet much longer, the statue of limitations will also have expired and he'll be able to move around T.land as a free man again.

I thought the Red Bull Killer was still in Hong Kong, as he was too sick to travel ?

A statute of limitations only applies if there were no charges brought against the accused within a specified time frame, which is not the case here.

They should have taken away his passport

Shouldnt have needed to do that. He should have been arrested and jailed until his trial came up. Then he should have received a loooooooong hard sentence so he wouldnt need his passport

Oh my oh my... this kind of PR stunt really just adds to the ridicule.

"Saving face" actually means losing in such a comedy.

Why don't they just keep silent and let this thing fall off the media radar? this guy will never ever be busted anyway, so they might as well keep some decency.

The nudge by the media over this 4-year old case gives the new generation of top cops a good excuse to go back to the well and pick up a few more million baht. The cocaine and alcohol samples that police originally claimed were lost early on and the speeding charge was dropped 3 years ago. Police and prosecutors are still pretending they need to do more investigation before prosecuting this case. Pull the other one.

But nothing will happen over this case. The family is far too rich and this is Thailand.

It was Singapore and he had a medical certificate for common flu. He has been back in Thailand for many years since then but charges have never been pressed.

how slow the wheels of justice turn theres been a lot of talk about this chap and why this case has taken so long to come to court he was driving recklessly and he killed a policeman the fact that he is the red bull heir is irrelevant get him to court and deal with him.

Wrong!

If it was a member I'm my family this arrogant,

Useless piece of trash killed with his Ferrari: I

Guarantee he would have had an accident and be

In a wheelchair for life.(karma NJ style)!

Remember other cases, the former politician and senior police officer involved in the mysterious minor crash that killed the millionaire guy, the alleged fraudulent transfer of millions of baht in shares to two pretties? Seems to have faded away despite the victims wealthy family vowing to fight for justice and top policemen pledging to investigate and make sure justice is done,

Or the actor caught shooting his "friend" in the face on cctv?

The girl who killed nine is in trouble with the Probation Service - what's the betting that fades away too?

Or the MBK boss who crashed his Merc?

The c-list actress who hit a parked police car and killed the cop inside - nothing happened to her, laughable few days as a nun and then claimed his ghost "had forgiven her". Whisked away by family after the crash so again no booze or drugs test. Apparent witness also mysteriously went silent.

Until laws are reformed, the judiciary impartially uphold the law, the police impartially enforce the law, and the OAG act professionally in accordance with the law, nothing will change.

Not one singe politician or political party has shown the slightest interest in bringing about any changes - they are in the minority that benefit from this state of affairs so have no motivation to change.

Once someone rich, influential, connected, right family member, is involved the scenario is: media report lots of police promises and vows that justice will be done; then slow progress reported with lots of red herrings popping up and "new avenues of inquiry". Then simply all allowed to fade away and disappear until it can quietly be dropped. Of course detailed negotiations carried out in the background progress very quickly.

What is their to report. The accused guy is guilty but is safe and living it up in Singapore. coffee1.gif

Guy looks like a deer in the headlights....totally clueless on what to do next

Great summary of the facts to date.....all talk about reform and corruption, plenty of opportunity to show there is reform, yet no one with the guts to change the current way of doing things.

Don't you get sick to the eyeballs when the BiB come out with obvious nonsense! sad.pngbah.gifwhistling.gifwai.gif

How would it be with the young Porsche driver who cut a 17 year old Laos girl in half and sped off with parts of the girl on his windshield? Did he ever see any proscecution?
