It would have made sense if old Harold had married an educated lady working a decent job. Harold is smart. He now has his 'pretty woman". At his age, I guess over 60, I don't think he wants to be married to one of your Thai Chinese with more degrees than a compass who phones him from the office to tell him she'll be late home due to an office meeting. I am not being hard on her occupation. I am questioning the conclusion of some posters who feel that marrying her was some great acheivement which all elderly westerners in thailand should be proud of, that this is a chip on their shoulder. Whereas i feel that this will only demean them more in the eyes of normal thais. I am sure you were hard on her occupation. No need to come all high and mighty on her. She is famous with big cans...
