He accused Trump and "his henchmen" for spreading untrue rumors on social media and in a supermarket tabloid that Cruz cheated on his wife, Heidi."Trump demonstrated that when he's scared, when he's losing, his first and natural resort is to go to sleaze and to go to slime," Cruz said.He added, "He's willing to attack anyone and everyone. Trumps wife would be the hottest First Lady to cross the threshold of the White House. When I first saw Bush senior with his wife I thought she was his mother. Three more women have surfaced since. Different news people are reporting that it was Rubio's people who had been promoting the story unsuccessfully to different news outlets for a couple of months. The Irony is that Cruz is the Bible thumper and has won a couple of states perhaps for that reason. Now he looks like a total hypocrite. There are enough people involved that it appears to be very possibly true. So do the various claims that it was Rubio's people, not Trumps who pushed out the story. His calculus is that there are enough stupid people to propel him to the Presidency, and he might not be wrong, We elected Bush twice didn't we? His problem is IMO that he went too far and has alienated stupid women and minorities. This latest Cruz Trump side show is not helping him . If I was Trump, instead of going on the offensive with his picture tweet , I would had played the victim card over the posting of his wife's naked picture, it is something his followers would sympathize with , most of them having a victim complex. But his Hubris would not allow him to play the victim, it is part of his narcissist pathology, and would be his undoing. It is the USA, you know, with its infamous lawsuits and huge awards.
