BANGKOK, 26 March 2016 (NNT) – An advisor to the Prime Minister of Thailand has told students from Nakhon Si Thammarat who are visiting the Government House that the government would adhere to the country’s reform roadmap.

Gen Sakol Chuentrakul, the prime minister’s advisor and former chief of the 4th Army Area, delivered his speech before a group of 50 vocational students from Nakhon Si Thammarat, saying the country was entering the second phase of reform after the initial phase had been very successful.

He said the government was addressing a wide range of issues while making them national agendas.

He also provided some development on the political situation to the students, saying the National Reform Steering Assembly (NRSA) had been established to carry on the effort to mobilize reform in 36 areas brought into existence by the disbanded Nation Reform Council (NRC).

He also assured the students of the government’s determination to strictly follow the country’s roadmap and the 20-year national development plan.

the country's reform roadmap

No, it's the military's roadmap to ensure its powerbase for the next twenty years without having to do a coup every 5 years.
