The March Against Fear scheduled to take place in Brussels has been called off.

The rally due to be held Sunday was organised to encourage solidarity in the country hit by deadly suicide bombings on Tuesday.

Citing security concerns, the Brussels mayor called for the march to be postponed to a later date:

“We share the emotion of the population and we prefer to leave the security forces working (on the investigation) so we ask that the march that many people, us included, want to participate in would be postponed by a few weeks”

The terror threat levels remains at level 3 out of 4 following the attacks meaning a rally would require considerable manpower from police forces already stretched by investigations.

A makeshift memorial in the city’s centre continues to attract thousands, uniting Belgium in a time of grief.

CNN interviews with EU counter-terrorism officials and Interpol ... their answers showed a a considerably high level of incompetency.

CNN interview with a Belgium Muslim father who reported that his son had been radicalized and was going to Syria. Police response was ... "Who would want to go to Syria?"

CNN interview with Belgium Muslim teen who called police and said his brother was going to Syria to fight with ISIS. Police response was ... "What can we do about it?"

The whole of Belgium operates like that. Remember, not long ago they couldn't even manage to elect a government.

Obviously the right place to put the EU HQ, all that talent readily available.

Also, so far I not read or seen reported any comments, quotes or statements from Mrs. Merkel on this attack. How unusual from the self appointed EU leader.

Why not say it out loud? The march against fear has been cancelled because of... fear!?

Calling it off might have made an even deeper dent than the actual bombings. Why don't we all fall on our backs and surrender to IS? Perhaps that's the best (and safest) thing to do. Or perhaps we all have our backbones surgically removed so we can bend over more smoothly...

March Against Fear is called off Due to Fear.

If you can't come up with your own idea, then don't post (referring to your signature) smile.png

However, fear has always been a very, very bad advisor! It is just beyond belief how deep the western world has sunken. Anyone that comes along can slowly and deeply penetrate us from behind, and that includes (besides the so-called "terrorists") politicians, officials, the media, the banks, the state... I just wonder what it takes for the people to stand up and say out loud exactly what your footer says, "Enough is enough!"
