Training course may be needed for those repeatedly breaching agreement

BANGKOK: -- Deputy prime minister Gen Prawit Wongsuwan said this morning that Watana Muangsook has breached agreement with the military junta several times, thus prompting the military to summon him for "attitude adjustment."

A training course may be needed in future for those repeatedly breached agreements, he said.

The deputy prime minister in charge of security was commenting on Watana’s statement posted on his Facebook today saying he would continue to criticise the military.

He said this person was well aware of the military junta’s request for cooperation and to allow time for the military and the government to work first as election is going to be held soon, but he still breached the agreement.

He indicated that in future there might have need to have a training course if agreement is repeatedly breached.

He insisted that the military junta did not violate human rights of any individual.

Instead, what really is the intention of that particular individual as the draft constitution has been completed and now it is in the process to have it on referendum, Gen Prawit said.

Meanwhile spokesman of the military junta Col Winthai Suvaree said it was not the first time that Mr Watana has violated agreement but continued to portray negatively the image of the military junta.

He said Mr Watana never cooperated, and instead made himself a trouble maker for the peace and order effort of the military junta.

He added that the military junta has treated him with honour in the past and would like him to use the right channel that won’t tarnish the reputation of the country to communicate.

"He insisted that the military junta did not violate human rights of any individual."

Of course not, he is simply insisting on uncomplaining obedience, and holding people incommunicado and without charge when it isn't provided.

Now, since intimidation isn't working, it's time to start the "re-education" camps.

A funny thing happened on the way to reconciliation.

It maybe time for all tourists and expats over 3 years in Thailand, (over stayers need not apply), to complete this training course , it could be run on the same lines as the Mining , oil and Gas induction course, the Junta seem to be having trouble with there own people with this attitude adjustment, just think what an outsider thinks. ..........................................cheesy.gif

Instead of finding that cartoon photo from 1984, you could have just re-posted the photo from the OP. Theres no substantial difference.

Houston, I mean Bangkok, "We have a problem here ".

Are they trying to hit a croc until it agrees its an elephant ??

"A training course may be needed in future for those repeatedly breached agreements, he said."

If they have to give a training course for everyone who needs to learn how to tell the truth, the economy and government would collapse. Everyone would be in training.

Generals expect blinds obedience from soldiers. And that's no violation of human rights.

The only problem is that nobody has told the generals that they are no longer dealing with soldiers but with normal people who occasionally even think.

Some even have the audacity to express their thoughts despite general Prawit's warning: "You can think, but you cannot speak,"

Deputy prime minister Gen Prawit Wongsuwan not only talks like a muppet but also strongly resembles one.....

"training course', 'attitude adjustment'', "request for cooperation" All this piffle waffle and inability to speak properly is symptomatic of psychopathy...

Why can't he just be honest and say "If you are against the Junta and speak out against us you're going to jail until you learn to keep your opinions to yourself'' ?

The D word anyone ?

Oh sorry, using it is another thing that's on the ' not permitted ' list

I'm glad you pointed that out, very observant.. Had I done that, I may have also been invited to the Adjustment Bureau for tea and biscuits.

Attitude BRAINWASHING ADJUSTMENT in disguise..............

Lobotomy???

portray negatively the image of the military junta.

If the above is a crime, you had better start with Prayuth and all the other ridiculous Generals and Admirals who are constantly making fools of themselves in the national and international media.

A training course on oxygen deprivation?

I was thinking a brief but invasive training course would benefit serial over stayers quite a bit.

Now, who will be teaching?

where are the Junta defenders today? Out shopping for jackboots?

Now, who will be teaching?

An older dog ?

How hypocritical when it is common knowledge and practice in Thailand that a contract or agreement is merely a pause in the negotiation.

Do the current govt understand that an agreement requires both sides to agree?

Hmm, I could be wrong but I think your auto correct spell check changed to word you intended into something else.

So... their re-adjustment program seems to be highly ineffective, so now people are going to be sent for re-education ?

Something tells me, this new program will be just as ineffective.
