PHUKET: Phuket International Airport has slashed the cost of a drinking water on sale inside its terminals by 75 per cent and has launched new budget menus to appease hungry travellers on a budget.

Spanish tourist arrivals on the up

PHUKET: The number of Spanish tourists visiting Thailand has risen by almost 30 per cent this year while the number of Russian tourists continues to rapidly decline, according to the latest figures released by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT).

Bangkok Poll reveals planned charter referendum findings

Chumphon-Phuket bus driver, 69, attendant, 26, booked for kratom coach smuggling attempt

PHUKET: A 69-year-old bus driver and his 26-year-old attendent have been booked for possession of the kratom plant after attempting to smuggle 19 kilogrammes of the pyschoactive stimulant on a Chumphon-Phuket coach.
