PATTAYA: -- A home was burglarized with several valuable pieces of jewelry stolen.

The incident occurred at the TW Palm Resort Village, on Soi Thepparsit 12, Banglamung.

At 10 pm, April 2nd, Former race car driver, 62 year old Mr. Hans Dieter, reported that when he and his wife arrived home from the hospital to find that their bedroom had been ransacked. Several valuable pieces of jewelry were missing such as a gold necklace, gold bracelets, and gold inlaid amulets.

Mr. Dieter’s wife said that she had a premonition that something bad was going to happen that night so she had audited her assets before they had gone to the hospital.

Wife: "Honey I think a thief will steal all my jewelry tonight while we are at the hospital. I won't take it with me, I'll make a quick audit before we go."

And why,if it was all this gold that went missing,wasn't it in a safe???? I am surprised that a 50,000 baht necklace wasn't mentioned in the list.If you can afford this kind of stuff,you can afford a safe!
