I RECENTLY HAD AN ACCIDENT ON MY BIKE, I WAS IN HOSPITAL OVERNIGHT, NEEDED SOME TREATMENT, GOT DISCHARGED, PAID THE BILL, NOW I WANT TO CLAIM THE MONIES BACK, WHO DO I CLAIM FROM, OR CAN I CLAIM FROM ALL THREE?

If that's the case maybe it's for the best the OP doesn't ride his motorcycle don't you think.

And…3…2….1… Back in the room…………. ‘JIMMY56’, why didn’t you present one of your insurance cards to the hospital when you were given treatment? It could have all been dealt with there and your insurance company may even get a little stroppy you did not inform them of said accident…. (but. not sure about that)

As for claiming of all 3….. Ha ha, Not sure about Thailand but I’m sure they will not be impressed and I think it’s illegal, you can have as many insurance policies as you like but can only claim for the one incident once and not once from each company….

The accident happened on a Saturday night, i was let out Sunday morning, i had my cards with me, but i had trouble trying to explain that my insurance was incorporated with the card, i/they could not contact any of the two companies i am with as it was 8.30 am Sunday morning, so i paid cash, in the past i have been into the hospital on a weekday, no problem called the company, the receptionist spoke to them, gave them my details, no problem bill paid

I was not riding the bike at the time, i was trying to get on it, leg got caught, over it went with me half on half off

As for my eyesight, there is no problem, i just made it all in caps so you old fella's could see it

Anyway thanks for the info

Cheers Jimmy

OK... fair enough, but just be carful about the claiming thing, (more than once for the one incident) Why not ask the insurance company the question, they will tell you if it's OK to claim more than the once.

Well when someone pulls out of a side road without looking (Thais in general) as against someone with poor vision but who does look ,the OP, short sight or long sight two different things

Go back to the hospital and in your Thai accent say "Claim"...
They should be filling out a form for you for the expenses, but you MUST show them your insurance card(s).

After doing this you may have to wait a while 1-2 months, but you'll get your money back for sure.

Make sure you tell them that it was an accident and not you causing the accident.
