PM voices support for Nuclear Security Summit

BANGKOK, 4 April 2016 (NNT) - Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha said that all countries will benefit from the fourth Nuclear Security Summit (NSS), where member nations reaffirmed their commitment to securing nuclear materials.

After returning from the summit held in Washington DC, Gen Prayut said that a communique and five action plans have been adopted by NSS member nations. They will promote stronger commitments from the 52 countries that attended the 4th NSS to prevent the abuse of nuclear power and radiation leakage.

The Prime Minister also took this opportunity to explain the political situation in Thailand to the global community. He assured world leaders that the government has always followed a roadmap.

Gen Prayut claimed that everyone at the NSS understood his explanation well and that none of them raised any questions.

I'm sure they were thinking 'Who the #@%& was that, and how did he get off his hamster wheel?!?' Diplomatically, of course, krub.

Right. Road Map to Hell. However, everyone will have the proper attitude while on the journey.

I hope nuclear power is off the agenda in the future for Thailand

more solar farms , and a subsidy scheme for each tax paying household

He went because Thailand received a participation award at a dinner sponsored by a slew of corporations. Basically he was given a free meal to listen to sales pitches. He wasn't a factor at the meetings and probably doesn't even understand what happened.

Hope the guy has been told what nuclear means.......sad.png

I believe he thought it was the nucleus summit and he had to appear as the world understands Thailand is the nucleus of the world.

He went because he thought he could con a bunch of foreigners with his hour long talk about Thailand and its silly neverending roadmap. Nobody asked any questions beause most never listened to his tirade and those that did wondered <deleted> he was talking about. Self-sufficency? Thailand does not have any uranium.

Thais aren't exactly well known for their ability to read maps.

He is quite self sufficient - he has even got his own Airbus!

I hope world leaders have had the benefit of watching the adoring video clip with accompanying pop song of our dear leader to understand the importance of his utterances?

Putting future Nuclear power in the hands of "you know who'(and i dont mean Voldermort) is a terrifying thought. Can you imagine? One slight from another Asian country and in 'a fit of rage' it would be 'lets bomb the bastards' This is fat boy Kim reasoning.Another reason why these children, dressed in adult clothing, must never be allowed to gain control of such a world ending mechanism..sad.png

Here is what I expect to see after their next nuclear accident:
