Where to buy 5-htp in Bangkok

Featured Replies

Any online shops?

I saw it in MBK but I assume it's fake like the rest of the supplements they are selling there.

Don't fancy putting that stuff in my body unless I know what it is...

Tried phukethealthshop and other supplement shops but nothing. Any ideas where to get it in bangkok or order it from within thailand?

I have had the last five orders delivered from iHerb in under two weeks. Each one carried a seven baht customs charge. You must keep your order below a certain weight and dollar amount to avoid additional customs charges though. Check on thier website for details. I don't know of any supplements that have an authenticated or certified amount of ingredients. Unlike medicine, it's an uncontrolled market. Probably your best insurance would be buying an established brand like Now, Doctors Choice, Jarrow, etc. and avoiding cheap brands with store labels. I don't use 5-HTP alone at the moment but I do occasionally take sleep formulas that contain 5-HTP and Malatonin. There is a broad range of supplements available on iHerb. I think that you'll be surprised at the wide selection. Good luck.

Please Note: Due to Thailand customs currently preventing importing of our products we have currently suspended shipping orders to Thailand with DHL Express or UPS International. We are currently working with customs to determine what we can do to get our packages to be allowed entry into your country. We apologize for any inconvenience this has caused you.

They ship USPS and then transfer to Thai post.... No problem......

Have to wait a couple of weeks for delivery but probably the best option for you

Do those products come with guarantees of not being "fake"?

How does one determine with confidence what these supplements contain ?

The products will not be fake. However, there is never a way to determine with confidence what is contained in" supplements"because they are not regulated by the FDA. Supplements, in reality, are always a bit sketchy.

The FDA only gets involved if they have reason to believe a supplement is unsafe, contaminated, CO trains prescription medications, etc. All of which have happened in the past. Just a few months back a fancy workout recovery powder had Prozac ground up in it (it was finally pulled). Like I said, no guarantee with "supplements". If you insist on taking them the best you can do is buy a reputable brand name one with a good track record.
