He's travelling and posting as he goes. From what I've seen thus far - and admittedly he's yet to get out of the touristy areas - I think Thailand looks more livable.

You mean "opinion". Nobody said it was, and if that's true of him - and therefore everyone else - and the implication was that we shouldn't express our opinions, then we wouldn't have a Web, would we? Indeed, we wouldn't have a culture. We might not have language. Nobody could express a view because nobody's opinion would be worth any more than anyone else's. A rule that thereby prevents anyone saying anything probably won't increase the sum of human happiness. biggrin.png

Besides, being old - life experience - and having spent a decade and a half in Thailand, his opinion on the relative attractions of both countries probably is better than that of most people.
