Does anyone know the Thai word for western-style sweet basil? I understand that it is different to italian/genovese basil (even though it looks the same). I am attaching a photo.

I have the Thai words for Italian basil.

Thank you for your help.

I think I might go with HORAPHA FARANG (โหระพาฝรั่ง). After looking at photos of this particular basil on Thai sites, this seems to be the most common description.

Dear evilebxxx,

Thank you for that, however I could not find any mention of it on the video.

I think I will stay with stay with HORAPHA FARANG.
