Transferring Procedure For Internal Flights

Recommended Posts

I am flying to Phuket from London via Bangkok in January. Both flights are with Thai Air.

Could someone advise me on the procedure when landing at Bangkok, namely :

Do I have to collect my bags, or are they automatically transferred onto the Phuket flight?

Do I have to clear immigration/customs, or can I go straight to board my other flight?

Do I have to change terminals?

All flights have been booked with expedia.com.

Many thanks in advance,

Nigel

You can check your bags all the way to HKT, just have the Thai agent in London take care of it. You will not clear customs in BKK and will instead stay airside (follow the transit signs) and clear customs and immigration in HKT.

You will just go on a walk moving walkways to Domestic Transfers via the Shopping Mall all 1 Terminal. As you come off London flight you will get your boarding pass or transit card and directions from staff.

one and a half hours timing should be enough to transfer flight if all on time.
