JustAnotherFarang
Hi Guys I have an old style Sanyo gas hob and oven that I bought about 8 years ago for around 6,000 bht. Yesterday I tried to do some baking which required a temperature of 180 degrees but the gauge shows its only reaching 150 degrees and after an hour 160 degrees. I noticed that the flame at the bottom burner was low and when I use the knob to increase the gas it went up just a little. This morning I took it out and apart from some surface rust I did not notice any other blockages. I put it all back together again but it has made no difference at all. Any suggestions as to what I can do to get the flames higher and the temperature back to normal. JAF
Crossy
Let's try this in DIY. It could be the thermostat (the bit connected to the knob) gone bad.

Pacificperson
Ask your bottled gas delivery guy to try a different regulator. They usually have a couple of spares with them.
