My multiple-Non-O 1y, will expire NOV 6, 2006

November 5 I am planning a trip to Singapore and will be back the

same day in Thailand. As far I understand I will receive another 3 month on arrival.

But... just spoke to a friend on the phone. He told me he has the information I

will not receive another 3 month but 30 days only, because I have to leave the country 5 days

before the visa has expired to receive another 3 month.

Is that true? Please advise. Thanks

Webfact, your friend is wrong. If your multiple-entry non-O visa says “must be utilized before 6 NOV 2006” or something like that, upon entry into Thailand on November 5 you will receive permission to stay for 90 days, i.e. admitted until 2 FEB 2007.

Take a bet with your friend and you will definitely win.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

I'm not aware of any changes.

AFAIK You will receive a 90 day stamp provided you enter the kingdom before the 'enter before' date stamped on your visa.

You should have zero problems with your plan :o
