Cambodian man in a coma after Pattaya balcony fall



PATTAYA:— Cambodian man is in a coma after falling from the sixth floor balcony of a hotel in Jomtien.

The man, named only as Ong, was staying with a South African national called Graham Stickells, 47.

Sayan Menthong, 59, a hotel employee called police who arrived with rescue workers after he heard a loud noise of something falling at Hotel Longstay in Jomtien 2. He said that the men were staying together in room 607.

Ong is in a coma at Bangkok Pattaya Hospital.

Pattaya police offered no further information about the incident other than to say that investigations remain ongoing.

I don't know about that,the way things sound he could of been in high heels if you know what I mean.

I don't understand what all these farangs and Cambodians are doing on the balconies. Thais never fall

There needs to be a public warning message about all balconies. I for one am staying on level ground!

ooops, you are right. I must have got used to all those balcony deaths and thought this was one more.

Interesting to note that mine will be post number nine on the topic. If it had been a westerner who had fallen, we'd be out to three or more pages by now.

Obviously a westerner is by far more important than any other race....and some on TV wonder why they are despised.........

I'm curious to know what a body sounds like when its falling-------- an employe "heard a loud noise of something falling"
