Dogbreath
Thailand one of the world highest rate gun ownership per population and highest number of firearm related murder cases. More here. In Switzerland, every homeowner is required to have a gun and ammunition. Every one. Gun crime is rare. I*t's the culture, not the prevalence of firearms that makes for Thailand's dismal statistics. Take away the guns and you might as well take away the machetes, hoes, mattocks, screwdrivers and hammers the populace will use instead of guns. See Australia and Britain for violent crime after the guns were grabbed.

Including blind people, people with mental\psychiatric issues, people with criminal records??? I call bullsh*t, and searching online reveals nothing more than Switzerland has a fairly high rate of gun ownership per head of population , but not as high as Germany, France or Austria. It would also seem that the vast majority of men between the ages of 20 and 34 are conscripted into the militia and undergo military training, including weapons training, meaning they are likely more fit and proper people to be in charge of a firearm. Moonmoon
how ignorant can he get thinking he can just set his page or group as closed and get away with it lol. What he needs is to just manufacture and someone else to do the distribution for him.

Go argue your point with the Swiss residents here in, several of whom have told me the same story. Your first question is ridiculous on its face. Just because you call it BS, it neither makes you Swiss nor an expert.

Sorry but your statement on gun ownership in Switzerland is simply no longer true, and in fact gun, ownership there has decreased. Today Switzerland requires citizens to have a reason to have a gun, and you need to go back to the permitting authority every six months to a year or so to assure them the reason is still valid. Switzerland does not promote gun ownership and has been moving away from having widespread guns. Swiss laws are done canton by canton. Everyone in Switzerland serves in the army, and the cantons used to let you have the guns at home. Today, they’ve been moving to keeping the guns in depots, not in the household. bazza40
The NRA in America loves to trot out the Swiss example of gun laws to rebut what has happened in Australia since 1992. Even if the Swiss laws have been changing. Switzerland is not noted for mass shootings. Australia has not had a mass shooting since the Port Arthur massacre of 1992. So what does that say about the mental state of many Americans? It's the only nation where a mass shooting results in an increase in gun sales.
