PATTANI: -- A step son shot his father with a rifle in a southern rubber plantation - then calmly waited for police to come and arrest him.

Police in the Sabaiyoi district of Songkhla found 29 year old Anuwat Phimpong of Pattani waiting at a raised platform amongst rubber trees holding a .22 rifle, Thairath reports.

Lying in front of the TV in the makeshift shack with a fatal gunshot wound to the heart was his stepfather Supachai Amorndara, 45.

Anuwat told local police that he was angry that his stepfather was stealing bits of rubber from him and shot him in a rage.

Police charged him with premeditated murder.

Hate to think what he would have done if the stepfather had stolen money or gold from him.

Beyond normal comprehension how people would happily go to prison for a fair amount of time over something so trivial.

If he shot and killed them s man for such a small amount. He might be thinking prison is a better option for him.

45...he potentially had more life to live.

Using rubber bullets would of been suffice.......could of got the message across to dad with a bit of ironyw00t.gif

more than a bit of irony

What's wrong with this kind of people, don't they have a single brain cell activated?

Yes, I'm pretty sure there's a back story here we'll never be told.

he did use irony if the bullet had a metal jacket

Maybe shot him twice dead?

So Buddhist so calm, so full of compassion and understanding.

Thailand at its best.

I think there is a bit more to it than just stealing a bit of rubber

If he thinks his step-dad was bad...wait until he gets a taste of his cellmate...bah.gif

Ha ha! Nice 1 !

We are part of the ape family. In fact only a single chromosome from a chimpanzee. That's why hundreds of youths can set upon a single kid without conscience, and why billions of people believe in sky Gods with no evidence. It's the way we are, I'm afraid, and it's not just Thais. Sadly, it seems like most people have just about enough intelligence to open their mouths to put food in it, but little else.

More Thai 'rage'....

...perfectly reasonable in the mind of a psycho.....

This is not Buddhism, this is lack of any form of education.

He calmly waited for the police, so your obscure, anti-thai post actually makes a gram of sense in a odd way.

Perhaps just another sociopath on the loose. However, I get the feeling that there is more to the story.
