PM briefed on national development progress

BANGKOK, 19 April 2016 (NNT) - The Public-Private Collaborative Committee (PPCC) has assured Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha that it is committed to fostering social equality and raising Thailand’s competitiveness.

Gen Prayut has been briefed by the PPCC in a recent meeting on its efforts to promote national growth in 12 development areas, including innovation, small and medium enterprises, domestic investment and basic education.

The PPCC will continue to report its progress to the Prime Minister via its 12 operating teams, which were set up to achieve these goals. Gen Prayut also stressed the need to ensure there is connectivity between the government and the people to regain the public's trust.

The premier urged all sectors to help expedite national reforms by promoting a greater understanding of the administration's roadmap, which must be achieved next year.

there is connectivity between the government and the people to regain the public's trust.

So that's why the junta's Attitude Adjustment sessions are getting longer and more frequent.

"Gen Prayut has been briefed by the PPCC in a recent meeting on its efforts to promote national growth in 12 development areas,"

But was there any actual growth? The article fails to mention if their efforts have achieved anything! Therefore I suspect yet more failed government schemes.

"PM briefed on national development progress"-shortest meeting in history one must suppose.

"The premier urged all sectors to help expedite national reforms by promoting a greater understanding of the administration's roadmap, which must be achieved next year."-but what is the roadmap?

Is going backwards really progress? I suppose if you use negative integers the junta is making great leaps...BACKWARDS.

'Promoting social equality and promoting thailand competitiveness'... rotfl. Stand up comedy genius at its best. Good to see the junta has a sense of humor after all.

Just as well he was only briefed. With any lengthy lecture on social equality , attention deficit syndrome would have rapidly got the upper hand. Not a man known as a patient listener.
