Does any one know of an extremely cheap studio apt or guest house near Chiang Mai. I don't mind if its very basic as long as its clean 1 month initially then longer I hope want to be there may 6th

Haven't been there for a bit, but Suthep Rd (behind uni) tended to have cheap digs, where the students stay. Bit noisy, but.

Out in Sansai ,10 km North East of the moat .Chic Mansion starts at B2,200 a month .tel;089-635-7955 .Have not been myself but saw this on a road sign .

No Problem, when you get here keep your eyes open for a group of 10-20 Chinese tourists rolling their bags down the street. They are going to or coming from where you want to stay and can assist you.

Check out "Nunapranee" guest house. It is safe, nice, and clean. Also, great location. Close to Soi 1 and Soi 2. And, across the moat from Loi Kroh.
