BANGKOK: -- Former Democrat heavyweight Suthep Thuagsuban announced today that he is ready to face legal action from the Election Commission if his public statement in support of the draft constitution he made on Sunday is deemed a violation of the Referendum Act.

The chairman of the People’s Democratic Reform Committee Foundation however said that his foundation was ready to send representatives to join all public forums to inform or educate the public about the draft charter if invited by the Election Commission.

As for the activities against the government and the National Council for Peace and Order, Mr Suthep said he is optimistic that the military regime would be able to deal with the problem to make sure that the national referendum will proceed uninterrupted.

Mr Suthep on Friday gave a press conference to announce the staging of an art exhibition in cooperation with the Art Lene artists on weekends during May 12-September 17 at the Pacific building.

Works of art will be put on auction on the opening day on May 12 and proceeds from the auction will be used for the construction of Paowana Pothikhun vocational college in Koh Samui – the first free-of-charge privately-owned vocational college.

What type of 'music' will he be facing?

jazz, pop or perhaps a bit of soul?

Probably more like "Chopsticks".

Surely a nice military-march might be more appropriate ... John Phillip Sousa perhaps, or even 'Colonel Bogey' ? rolleyes.gif

All together now, in step at the back there, whistling ! whistling.gif

Isn't this still actually breaking the latest referendum Law? What makes his representatives an authority on the charter, he's still basically promoting it with that sentence.
