Big Brother is watching you brush past your fellow man

Even some of the most suspicious people would accept that there are at least some benefits in the proliferation of CCTV cameras throughout the world. But the very tool that authorities cite as so useful in bringing offenders of all descriptions to justice is very much a double edged sword.

PHUKET: A foreign man is in hospital after reportedly crashing his motorbike into the back of a car, then falling onto the road into the path of an oncoming bus in Soi Ta-iad, the popular Muay Thai training hub, this morning (Apr 30).

KRABI: A gas station attendant was forced to pay for a man who filled the tank of his pick-up truck and then drove off without paying yesterday morning.

Naiyang beach cleanup draws in crowds

Divers collected fishnets, fishing tools and other rubbish that accumulated on top of coral reefs.

PHUKET: More than 90 people, including professional divers from four Andaman provinces, are joining Phuket International Airport (PIA) and Sirinath National Park officials from today (Apr 30) for a two-day event for the “Phuket [Heart] Coral” campaign to collect rubbish from the sea and try to restore the marine ecosystem along the coral reef at Naiyang Beach.

Iraq: al Sadr supporters storm Green Zone and parliament

33 rescued lions arrive in South Africa in airlift

JOHANNESBURG (AP) — The roars of lions filled the cargo section of Johannesburg's OR Tambo International Airport Saturday evening as 33 lions rescued from South American circuses landed in South Africa where they will be released into a bush sanctuary for big cats.
