Ratchaburi governor scrambles to assist people affected by thunderstorms

RATCHABURI, 2 May 2016 (NNT) – Ratchaburi Governor Suraphol Saweangsak and relevant government agencies have surveyed houses damaged by Saturday's thunderstorms in Wat Phleng district to ensure the public receives assistance.

Gusty winds have also caused pylons and trees to fall over buildings in Ratchaburi – Wat Phleng Road, causing a power blackout to a large area and damaging crops.

After inspecting the damage, the governor of Ratchaburi instructed military officers, local administrative authorities and local administrative organizations to aid in the reparation efforts.
