border crossing new 90 day stamp

Featured Replies

For friends has non o mutilate entry visa has extended for 60 day based on married. Needs to leave to get new 90 days.

Him not sure how this work going to Laos Vientiane border.

does he need to stay in Laos for full day or can he go out and back quickly. Him not sure if he needs to go into Laos and have passport stamped any help with how this work

thank you

He will have to buy a Laos visa and be stamped into Laos. As soon as he has entered Laos he can turn around, exit Laos and re-enter Thailand.

And do the obvious first: check the ENTER BEFORE date of the Non O multiple visa.

Still valid?

Him thank you for replies. Lots of time on visa left just done 90+60 for first time. If him go before visa expire say day before he can get 90+60 again yes.????. Giving him nor than 12 mths or can he only get 90 day on that one

thank you

He should be able to get 90+60 this time also. He can use any border crossing for the new 90-day stamp.

Getting the 60 day extension is possible for every 90 day entry but he needs to be sure he does an entry prior to the enter before date on his visa to get the most of it.

Another 90 + 60 would put at about the 10th month of his visa. That means he would have do an entry about 60 days into his next entry after those 150 days.

So best to do 90+60 =140 days then

90+60 =140 days

then do border run after 60 days just before his visa rum out is that correct looking

thank you
