Non O multiple entry @ Savannakhet

Featured Replies

Hi All

I was at G4T today to try to get a Certificate of Residence. They declined as i was told that i did not have enough time left on my stay and would need to get a new visa before one could be issued.

I told the lady that i wanted it so i could get a drivers licence and use it to drive to Savannakhet for another 1 year Non O multiple Entry.

She told me that she was pretty sure that i would only get a single entry as I had already got a multiple entry from there last year already and they would not issue another one.

Can anyone confirm if this is correct and if anything has changed? I am on an Australian passport.

She also informed me that even if i flew back to Australia and tried for one in Sydney that i would probably not be issued one either.

Is this the end of the multiple entry Non O visa's?

Any information on this would be appreciated as i need to be out prior to 11 May.

Cheers

JT

I can see no reason why you should not be issued a Multi Entry Non Imm O Visa at Savanakhet.

There is no problem getting back to back multiple entry non 'O' s from Savanakhet or getting one from Australia as long as you have the right documents.

My wife just called the Consulate in Savannakhet and they also confirmed that there would not be a problem getting another one

The lady at G4T was giving me the wrong information
