Hello all,

i heard about Non-Immigrant O Visas being issued at BigC Bangkok Om Noi.

Is this true? If yes, does anyone have more information and contact details to the issuing office or agency?

heard it by phone from my wifes cousin. she is married to a Korean man. They will go there today to have the visa done. but i not trust her so much. caught her speaking bullsh... many times already. Asked to pls give us the phone number of this "office" at BigC Om Noi. She refused. Why? No idea:

So i want to ask trustworthy people, as you forum members: is there such a service at BigC Om Noi? And, is it legal?

It is possible there could be an agent (who could be an immigration official moonlighting) who could arrange a conversion of a tourist visa entry or visa exempt entry into a Non O entry.

There was a report of an immigration official in Pattaya who was able, for a price, to get a "one-year multiple entry visa" for someone.

These probably use unofficial channels. The visas/extensions you get may be legitimate, but may include fake stamps that could get you into serious hot water. Caveat emptor.

thank you, i also doubt the legitimacy of such a service - if there really is one at BigC Om Noi. Better apply for Non o at an embassy outside TH.

Thanks now I do know a thing or three. I have 40 years experience in the Far East and living and working in Thailand nearly 6 years. I am in Siem Reap, Angkor Wat on a holiday trip and was offered a teaching job here.

Everywhere I go, I never have a problem finding work. I think it is time to leave Thailand. Cambodia seems to be a much nicer place.
