Camerata's Guide To The Permanent Residence Process
My wife and I arrived at Suvarnabhumi on Sunday May 25th. I showed my passport and white certificate of residence book and was told to go into a small line to the right where there about four people. The lady at the desk took my white book and passport and was almost ready to to put the stamps in when she said I must fill in the TDAC. I replied that I didn't think I had to do one. She replied that everyone carrying a foreign passport must fill in one. I had to walk back about 50 metres to a line of moniters. There were quite a lot of Chinese and Koreans there having problems filling in the information. One old "farang" was typing in his name Harry. When I finished he was still trying to put in his name Harry. No one to assist these people. -

Are you happy with your life in Thailand?
You can disagree but you're wrong. Girls are treated like the women here, as second class. That's not a good way to start your life, and it happens in a few countries like it does here. It's actually one of the worst places to raise kids, especially girls. Up to 70% of girls here are molested in schools before they turn 18. In the US it's 12%. Quite a difference. Here the intentional homicide rate is higher than the US. Here, a large majority carry weapons , illegally, and use them all the time for minor differences. There is just as much bullying done here as anywhere else. Parents here care a lot less than in the west for their children, pawning them off over 35% with grandparents so they can enjoy their freedom working elsewhere. Children here are still hit by teachers. You do that in the US you'll never work as a teacher again. There are gangs all over Thailand, much like the west, and human trafficking here is huge, along with some officials that allow it to happen. People that look at woman as second class, objects or slaves, will always think things are going well for the girls here, as they don't care.
