Windows 10 2 problems. Help please.

2 months ago i bought a new acer windows 10 laptop because of formfilling problems with my old XP.

Ive found way my round it a bit. but it still wont fill in forms correctly.

EG,I was trying a PPI form, it wanted the DOB in this format dd/mm/yyyy, but i could only enter 2 numbers,clicking next it wont move and tell me to fill this in fully which it wont do! this was the same on my XP machine,

The Windows 10 is genuine,i insisted on that at the shop,it acepts updates from microsoft ect.

2.I watch motorbike racing on youtube a lot and capture a pic, when i open the capture folder it is empty,anybody know where esle they might be? same with short film clips from mobile,cant find them,

It has nothing to do with Windows 10 unless you are using a 'system' software to print from.

In most cases it will be a format problem with your office suite, whether it is MS Office, Libre, Open Office, etc. Or your pdf program if you are using templates. In all cases you can change the date formats in your Options or Tools for that software.

Try that first, and if for some reason that doesn't work, look at Regions & Language in your Control Panel for W10.

There are many methods of tricking the MS servers to believe you are legit.

Unless you received a separate receipt for the operating system/software, or it was specifically itemized on your overall receipt from the computer shop, you are most likely running pirate software. A good indication would be the overall cost or description of your computer (if it is a brand name), ie does it ship with an OEM install, preview software, etc.

Note: I see it was an Acer notebook, did it ship with an OEM version of W10 installed? It will likely be W10 home if it did, anything higher likely pirate unless specified.

when i bought it they turned it on in the shop,it started up as w8, although being sold as w10. so i said i wanted 10,give us a day will do,thinking they would get the free version off the net. this one now starts with Guncom, which i presume as you say is pirate,why? when genuine is free? can i still do it,DL genuine w10? cos at times a little pop-up tells me get office at 50% off! Calling a spell checker stupid? Download the British English language pack and get rid off your American one.

Go to language preferences, then download the language packet of your choice. I totally agree that the American date with the month first is more than irritating.

About once a month, I'll open a spreadsheet and find my default time/date format has been reset to Hebrew.

This is set to Category by default; I find the icon view to give you better control as opposed to category or the new Windows search view.

Click on Language. My computer is set for only English (United States), but the same changes can be made to any language pack installed. On the left side click on Change date, time, or numbers formats.

The Region box will then openand regardless of the language format selected, will allow you to change the Date & Time formats. When you have made your changes, click Apply and OK to set as default. (You may have to reboot to apply these changes (I can't remember). Under the Location tab in the Region box I am still in Thailand.

Seems to be okay your activation.

Anyway, delete your adblock, then use this tool ( Kaspersky Virus removal Tool= not an Anti virus, only to clean your machine) Here:

With reference to the online file, when entering your date of birth, follow the format written and don't use any back slashes between number groups.

Thanksa Chris and sorry for late reply, seems the my router packed up cos of constant power cuts and they have finally replaced it, ive tried the form again and it works! befofe i was using spaces which would account for the 2 missing numbers on the end,next is my thai postcode,althoughwith my thai address thay still want it and its rejected. but please dont worry over that, i will try to find a way round it, Thanks again mate for your efforts!!
