I'm just curious about how many forum users are presently living in Pattaya.

I'm one of them.

I do not live in Pattaya. However, I may spend 4 or 5 days there each year in 2 visits, mainly to pick up supplies.

I think 5 days is enough in 1 year anyway.

DaveThailand - did you vote?

I voted no, but I just live about 30k up the road, though close enough but technically not Pattaya.

Close enough meaning that it is not far for my wife and I to go for a night out (her idea of a night out is Hollywood) yet far enough away to be out of the tourist scene, the pub scene and so on. Although having said that my little town has plenty of pubs and karaoke, plenty of nightlife including Website.

Speaking of Hollywood and Website, how do you guys feel about having your neck cracked, shoulder massaged and the warm towel treatment while you are trying to take a leak?

:o

I live within spitting distance of Hollywood (and frequently score a bullseye).

Don't like it - fortunately neither does my wife.

Used to be too smoky, too crowded, too noisy, too much neck massage when you're taking a leak.

Has anything changed?

tukyleith,

I thought you live in the Isaan area.

Yeah, Hollywood is nice! I go there every year. I went there last month and they now have lasers which is quite nice. Xzite is quite nice as well.

Whilst Tuky may frequently behave like an Issaani, he in't.

The nearest to Pattaya I can stomach is Sriracha. Went to Pattay once, booked for 5 days. Made it to 3 and left. Dump.

No meemiathai,

30k upwards and you will find me :D

Actually, We are just building a house in a new estate and have been worried about what is going to be built on the other side of our fence. It was quite a large area you see. The little wife informed me last night they are building a golf course, so instead of worry about my veiw over to the By Pass, I will be waking up each morning looking out over a golf course, how is that for luck?

The lasers are actually quite advanced drug detection scans :D

Now, i wonder what that means :o

IT, you get all weak in the knees at the sight of Tukcom don't you!!! That is why you like Sriracha :D

Nothing has changed.

My wife, several of her girlfriends and I went to Dave's pub in Walking street a couple of weeks back (not bad lookers either were they Dave?), I was having a great time but they complained it was too loud and they wanted to go to Hollywood, YEAH RITE!!!

At least at hollywood your heart muscle can relax because the doof doof pumps your blood around quite well in it's place :o

The toilet massager got a bit carried away too and wanted me to go hands free, guess he was after an extra 20 bht :D

Tukyleith,

The cold one is still waiting for you on your return and yes they were'nt bad lookers at all but as you know like yourself us married men don't look at other women. :o

(it is too loud inside sometimes, sorry everyone)

I don't live in Pattaya...been there once or twice. Good seafood. :o

I live all the way down Jomthien beach road, wich I guess qualifies me :o

Perfect for me, away from the hectic craziness, but still only a 10 minute drive away...

Drive over there probably every other day, mainly for food and shopping, we have a couple of decent pubs over here as well! Wouldn't want to move for all the money in the world, place is just to convenient...

I live in one of these sky scrapers in Naklua. :D

During night,I feel like I am on the beach ...without the mosquitos :D

10 minutes to the action (I have no TG and I am a butterfly)

:o

Happy djinn

Lived in Pattaya 6 years......yet to step on the beach !!

I,ve been living 5 minutes walk from Blues Factory for 18 months now.In a couple of weeks I'm moving to Lake Maprachan.

Maybe I'm getting old but I must admit I'm looking forward to some peace and quiet and breathing clean (er) air.

Plus it only takes 20 minutes to get back to Walking Street ,yeehaa ! :o
