Job Title: Back-End Developer

Department: Business Intelligence and Product Development (Web / App)

Our team delivers online marketing solutions that are driven by the business requirements of the enterprise. This includes solutions for web, Android and iOS.

Additionally, we supply the enterprise with metrics and key performance indicators in relation to marketing, among other things.

As a BI and Product Development team member you will be participating in agile projects that involve the development and maintenance of existing enterprise websites, apps and other marketing channels.

Reporting to the Lead Developer as part of the development team, your area of work will be :

• Producing innovative, creative and robust solutions that meet and exceed stakeholder expectations
• Development, testing and delivery of various response driven web-based solutions
• Improvement of Security and Database Scalability in cooperation with other team members
• Utilizing the latest client-side technologies to build solutions for all modern browser with full functionality and feature sets
• Performance of other tasks as required

In order to succeed in the role you should ideally have :

• Strong education background with degrees in Engineering or Information Systems (preferred)
• Excellent knowledge PHP (OOP), AnsiSQL, Bootstrap, Foundation, SCSS, HTML5, CSS2/3, Javascript, jQuery/iQuery UI (and be prepared to participate in skill tests)
• Understanding accessibility and security compliance, user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers and environments
• Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes
• Data migration, transformation and scripting
• Understanding differences between multiple delivery platforms such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
• Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Understanding of "session management" in a distributed server environment
• Good Knowledge of Wordpress and Drupal
• Considerable working knowledge of the development of responsive websites and web based applications
• Ability to work independently, escalate issues and seek guidance as necessary
• Good English communication skills; this is an English speaking working environment
• Willing to work full-time in Bangkok
