Happy to say that I collected my 9-month (90-day extendable) ED via today. That secures my 'base' in Thailand for the next 9 months while I make short-term trips back to Myanmar with items for the various orphanages. I'm starting with those in Mandalay, and my little house on Koh Phangan is receiving (from Lazada, Aliexpress etc) items that these orphanages requested. Posters, books, crayons and paper etc can be bought locally. I've also been 'working' with ChatGPT to find a way to drastically reduce the file size of my downloadable videos that support the learning of vocabulary in each lesson of the NUG government English school text books. Staggeringly (I was truly staggered!), by using advance compression and coding the image, audio and video file into Base64, I can produce a 60-second revision video with accompanying audio and a quiz with images to practice the words into a downloadable file size of about 600kb!! That's important, because Myanmar data rates on mobile phones are some of the highest in the world. See how long it takes you to download this test file of a lesson and quiz! http://www.teachersimon.org/lesson/lekxxxx.html
