Krabi school builders to be charged for deaths of five women

KRABI: Police announced that they will be pressing charges against the construction company involved in a building collapse that killed five female workers at the Institute of Physical Education’s Krabi Campus in March.

The workers were killed when fresh poured cement brought down the upper story of the building, crushing them. (story here).

“Police investigators have concluded their investigation into the culpability of the construction company, Ekphat Enterprise Ltd Part,” said Krabi City Police Superintendent Sompong Thipa-arpakul.

Cutting corners, that is the way things are done.

Shoddy work / shoddy materials are used so bosses/ officials get their cut.

5 poorly paid ladies lost their lives, because of greed.

Really sad...

Again.... The same thing happened in Pattaya two months ago. Also five women from memory. They need to clear people from under a suspended slab pour. The cost is unacceptable. Poor buggers.
