extension of a visa

Featured Replies

Hello.

I arrive to Thailand and got a visa (stamp) for 30 days.
After 30 days, I went on a few days to Cambodia and returned to Thailand received another 30 days.
Can I take advantage of extension visa in immigration office for another 30 days?
As I understand the maximum period of stay is 90 days within six months?
Thank you in advance.

You can apply for a 30 day extension of your 30 day visa exempt entry at an immigration office for a fee of 1900 baht.

There is no 90 day limit that was done away with in 2008.

You can extend a 30 day visa exempt entry (it is not a visa) at an immigration office for 30 days at a cost of 1900 Bht.

If you intend staying longer you should get a tourist visa from one of the nearby countries.

You don't have a visa.

Yes, you can get the visa exempt entry extended.

There is no longer a 90 days in 6 months limit.

Udomjoe I have a similar question about extensions. I need to go to immigration in a couple of weeks for my 60 day extension. Do I need to take all my kids with me or just one or two or all of them?

One is enough. Just be sure you have the birth certificate and house book registry for them.
