ISIL suicide attack kills at least 30 in Yemen

At least 30 people have been killed in a suicide bombing at a police compound in Yemen.

The ISIL militant group have claimed responsibility for the attack which also wounded 60 others, among them the Hadramout chief of police.

The bomber reportedly detonated their device as recruits lined up at a police headquarters in the coastal city of Mukalla.

It is the second deadly blast in four days to hit the city, which acted as a hub for al Qaeda before they were pushed out by government forces backed by the Saudi-led coalition.

The growing threat posed by Islamist militant groups has led Yemen’s warring factions to enter into peace talks underway in Kuwait.

Concern is growing among international organisations about the humanitarian crisis in the country.

What do Sadiq and those others on the regressive left keep telling us...oh yeah, "Islam is a religion of peace." ???

Euronews, eh? Why do they think the bomber was ISIS, rather that AQAP? After all, AQAP had occupied the city for several months. The U.S. was helping them grow by bombing villages where they hadn't yet got a foothold, and now the Saudis are doing it for us.ISIS are newcomers by comparison, and it's not clear to me that there are more than a couple dozen of them. On the other hand I've seen stories that AQAP was supporting the Saudis in their fight against the Houthi, because before the Saudis intervened the Houthi were the only effective force combating AQAP.
