No, I'm not. What you so diligently refuse to understand is that I don't hate anybody, but I do oppose a certain group of people. I oppose people who intentionally hurt innocent men, women, and children—especially children, because they are the ones who have the least ability to protect themselves and are the most vulnerable. Consequently, they need to be protected the most. I will always speak up against people who hurt or kill children, no matter their religion or nationality. So, if I am opposing Israelis right now—not even particularly Jews—then I do this because they are hurting innocent people, and not because they are Israeli. Some people love cats; some people love dogs. Now, if a dog lover intentionally hurts a child, I will try to stop him, not because he is a dog lover, but because he hurts a child. And you perfectly understand that, yet you would rather call me a "dog-lover hater" than a child protector. Against your own better knowledge, you try to frame me as a Jew-hater. You pretend to side with Jews, but the truth is you support the crimes committed by the IDF and oppose those who speak up against those crimes, which makes you complicit. You KNOW what Israel has done to Gaza is a crime. You KNOW that if any of those countries which Israel has attacked in the last few months had flattened every hospital, university, and school—you name it—in Israel, killed 60,000 Israeli children, including 3,000 under the age of one (I tripled the numbers, as the population of Israel is three times higher than in Gaza), and had invaded Israel, taking the land and killing what is left of the population, you would NOT say something like: “Well, this happens if you start a war. The Jews were using their own children as human shields.” Or, who knows, maybe you would. Because the only reason for your undeniably disturbed relationship with justice that I can imagine is a sick affinity for power and superiority, which goes so far as to even deny innocent children their right to live. Beyond the fact that this is cowardice in its purest guise, it is a folly of the highest degree—for you blind yourself to a simple truth: Power bears no friends. Power knows but two kinds of souls: those it shatters, and those it sates. And the very moment a soul of the latter ceases to serve, it is cast into the ruins of the former. But something tells me that should this realization ever dawn upon you, it will already be too late. You truly have doomed yourself.
