Multi Non O visa RTE London - still no need to show finance?

Featured Replies

Hi all

About to apply for a multiple non o at the RTE London, last year I did not need to show bank statements, anyone know if this is the case, as usual their website and those of other consulate in the UK show conflicting info.

Many thanks for any help

No bank statements required for a multiple entry non 'O' based on marriage.

They do not ask for financial proof to get a multiple entry non-o visa based upon marriage.

Thanks all for prompt reply

Personal experience.

Not married to a Thai, applied for a non- o multiple entry at UK Thai Embassy July 2015.

Reason for visa - "to investigate retirement "

Only document submitted - proof of UK pension.

I am over 50 (well over !)

Passport returned 3 days later with the requested visa.

I will be applying for a year extension of stay shortly (with the required financial paperwork - income of

65,000 baht per month - letter from UK Embassy in Bangkok verifying this - and a bit more !

The reason I post is because the few replies to the OP assume that he is married to a Thai .

Regards to all on Thai Visa -- a very useful forum for us newbies
