CHIANG MAI: -- A hospital worker was arrested Monday as police found he had been recording dozens of upskirt videos of doctors, nurses and visitors at a downtown Chiang Mai mental hospital

Police found some 40 video clips on the phone of the man named as ancillary worker Phanuphan,31. Many of the images had been uploaded to a Facebook page, though Phanuphan denied doing this. The Facebook page had no profile or history reported Sanook.

Acting on a complaint about indecent images police were able to trace the IP address to a computer at the Suan Prung Psychiatric Hospital off Chang Lor Road and the worker was soon apprehended.

He admitted to police that he had been taking the images of doctors, nurses and visitors to the hospital for a long time. Sometimes he would collect images at a department store too. He would load them onto the computer and masturbate. But he denied putting the images online saying that it was a shared computer and someone else must have done that.

Police charged him with causing others trouble and annoyance. They are looking for the person who might have put the images on Facebook.

The hospital proudly announces on its website that its goal is "to help patients with mental health and psychiatric problems." It's contact page says :Follow us on Facebook.

Another example of excess, unsupervised or underworked, staff. Keep the employees lined out with busy work for their shift and they wont have time to get into mischief like this. To be playing pee a boo up skirt while on company time/ pay should be grounds for fireing his little arse.

He may be one of the few who knew what he would do each day and accomplished his goals. At least we know he made some effort

to get the tools for his work close, thus did not missplace/ lose them

I wonder if any background checks are made on potential new employees by those in charge of hiring in this country. Most jobs seem to go to someone who is known by present employee. Might be hard to approach this offense in a interview but there are ways to see how a person regards other space, priviscy, etc
