PHUKET to RANONG VISA RUNS

Featured Replies

I have a member of staff who has been working for another company and doing 90 day reports. Her current visa is due to expire but the paperwork for the new non-B visa run is not yet ready. She has only ever made one 'out and in' border run previously.

Has anyone made the run to Ranong recently for an 'out and in' visa exempt and were there any problems?

(I don't need advice about transferring work permits from one company to another- just the above question).

Thanks in advance

free visa exempts are NOT available at Ranong

only good if u have a valid visa

They will also tell you , before they stamp you out , if they will let you back in

Better heading to Sadao

Not correct, there have been reports of people doing it there

OP Call Ranong Immigration and ask, I called them a few months ago (found the number on Google) and they said it was possible, although circumstances changed and I ended up going somewhere else, the lady I spoke to spoke excellent English

good luck with that

She should have no problem with an out/in visa exempt entry at Ranong.

Good luck with what? it's not me doing the visa run, I advised the OP it is possible and to contact Ranong Immi to confirm

As the above poster said it's possible

Thanks for the comments- has anyone actually done a ranong run recently, themselves?
