May 25, 201610 yr I am in a bit of a pickle. My visa expires in about two weeks, and my passport is almost entirely full. It takes about two weeks to three weeks to receive a new passport; and the timing is unlikely to land me in a good situation. I have one full visa page in the back of my passport, labelled 'visas', next to a blank 'endorsements' page, and then the cover. I have a random page about halfway through my passport with ~70% free (small stamps blocking a big visa) , a full empty endorsements page when I added in new pages, a page that is ~80% free (thai visa extension on very bottom) Is there any way I could enter Laos (requires visa), and get a thai TV, and return, with those limited pages free? I have only one page that is absolutely clear and marked as a 'visa' page, but its at the very back. Next to an empty endorsements page.
May 25, 201610 yr One whole page for Laos visa + One whole page for Thai tourist visa = 2 pages needed
May 25, 201610 yr I was chatting to a guy on my last Cambodia visa run and he mentioned someone had to pay 4k to get extra pages added. I know you can't do this for existing passports in the UK.
May 25, 201610 yr You need two empty visa pages plus room for the entry and departure stamps. They will not use the endorsement pages. Having pages added leads me to think you have a US passport. It only takes on average 10 days to get a new one. If you needed more time you could apply for a 7 day extension at immigration.
May 25, 201610 yr Author I am currently on an extension right now, would I be able to also get a 7 day extension? Would I need to allow for extra time to move my extension to my new passport? Thank you.

A 7 day extension can be applied for after getting an extension since it is not really an extension. It is 7 days to leave the country after the application is denied. You don't have go to immigration to have your stamps transferred since you apparently only have 30 day extension. You will show both passport on departure from the country and they will transfer your entry stamp to your new passport.
May 25, 201610 yr entering Malaysia (Penang ) would only involve a small stamp not a full-page sticker and an – e-visa obtained online for Cambodia would also involve just a small stamp
May 26, 201610 yr Can anyone apply for a further 7 days window to exit Thailand after the 30 days extension? Will a valid reason be required by Immigration for the 7 days stamp? So can I say that after each 30 days extension, there is still an option of a 7 days window?

May 26, 201610 yr Thanks bubba1. The 7 days window comes in handy when something urgent crops up. So the 7 days window stamp will just be a pay-stamp-go with no question/document required by Immigration? Just to be sure Edited May 26, 201610 yr by thinkthink

It will require the same copies and application form as the 30 day extension. They are done routinely..
May 27, 201610 yr Thanks ubonjoe for this helpful info So for any extension done, there is always an additional 7 days window if anyone will like to stay on a little while longer. Edited May 27, 201610 yr by thinkthink
May 29, 201610 yr Ideally you would have three blank pages. One will be used up with the Laos visa and when you pass through Laos immigration they may stamp the entry on the remaining blank page(even if you ask them not to)leaving no room for the Thai tourist visa. Incidentally, last time I was at the Thai Consulate in Vientiane I asked the chap taking the application if they wouldn't mind sticking the visa on the first blank page and not jump to the right. I was told politely that they sent the passports somewhere and had no control on where they were placed. Fair enough. My next run I only have two blank pages and some space in a previous page for the stamps so it will be a squeeze.
