Hi, looking for some info for a friend of mine.

Currently here on 30 day visa waiver entry.

He needs an extra 17 days before heading back home to Australia.

Will he get an extra 30 days entry if he does an in-out at Mae Sot?

If no are the Cambo crossings giving 30 day back to backs?

He can get a 30 day extension at the Mai sot immigration office for 1900 baht, left side next to the bridge. He will only get 15 days anywhere on an out and in on a land crossing. He will only get 30 days if he flys out and in.

Mae Sot does not allow a crossing for a new visa exempt entry. They only allow them if a person has a valid visa for re-entry.

He does not need to do a border hop. He can apply for a 30 day extension of his entry at a immigration office for a 30 day entry. If he did a border hop he would only get 15 days.
