Pattaya restaurants join in TAT program

BANGKOK, 26 May 2016 (NNT) – The Tourism Authority of Thailand has joined with over 30 Chonburi based restaurants to organize the “Colors of the East to Isan 2016 Road Show”, seeking to encourage more tourist spending in the two regions.

Deputy Governor of Udon Thani Suchai Butrsara represented his province’s governor in chairing the launch ceremony for the road show alongside the Tourism Authority of Thailand Pattaya Office, which was attended by Chonburi province restaurants who have signed on to draw corporate travelers from the Kingdom’s northeastern region and Lao PDR to Pattaya city.

The activity, running until September this year, will see popular Pattaya eateries such as Loong Sawai Jomtien and Srinuan Seafood taking part in a promotional campaign to attract corporate travelers in groups of no less than 30 to the popular travel city. The groups will be offered special promotions if they adhere to the program’s conditions, which include at least one night’s stay in Pattaya and a visit to one of its community travel attractions.

Interested groups can contact the Pattaya TAT office at 038-428-750 or 038-427-667.
