RIP and condolences to his mother and whoever will cry for him.

Unfortunately just one of dozens killed in similar way daily.

Teen racers on bikes without the slightest instinct for the danger on the roads.

Can't the family sue who ever put that lamp post there?

They do it in the USA.

In the US they would diffidently sue the Honda Motor Company for selling a bike that goes fast enough to be the cause of their son getting killed.Think about it The Fast And Furious actor's sister tried to sue Porsche for selling a car that they knew could be driven at a dangerous speed. The irony is that he wasn't the driver.

Wearing a helmet? Although that probably wouldn't have made a difference. Hope no children once more, then would be eligible for Darwin award

The police say that several sand dunes on the road may have contributed to this accident.........

How about a brain dead teenager (before the accident) was riding a bike at speed beyond his, and / or the bikes capabilities?

BTW, in 15yrs I've never seen sand dunes on this stretch of road (being possibly 5 kms from the nearest beach)!

The headline should read, "Another brain dead infantile adult thinking he's Valentino Rossi kills himself"!

That wasn't his sister, it was his daughter.

...whilst texting (more than likely)..condolences..but most of the young gungho riders I see everyday have difficulty in doing one thing at a time let alone two!..becoming more and more prevalent around Chiang Mai that's for sure.

Considering the width of the bike, width of the lamp post and all streets in picture are working, what are the chances of hitting it?

Instant Karma, perhaps...?

Some sort of undiscovered magnetism at work here?

The helmet company will be sued in the US for designing helmets soooo ugly that nobody wants to wear them.......but apart from that.....sad accident, useless loss of life.
