Hi all

Does anyone know an expat or local who repairs electronics? My turntables need attention. I'm unsure if they were damaged in transit or what the issue is.

Turntable Model is Technics 1200, also known as a record player by our senior friends :)

I've had work done on them before by an electronics engineer in Perth. I'm hoping to find an expat who is handy with electronics or a referral if anyone knows a local service.

Thanks.

Thanks mate, I'm hoping to find an expat, but if I have no luck I'll check them out, thanks again

If you get the owner he speaks very good English. Very nice couple who run the shop.

They both speak good enough English. Use this shop frequently for specialist spare parts. Must admit I did know they did electronic repairs.

Sorry to hijack the turntable threat, but as it says electronics, maybe one of the familiar customers might know. I have an espresso machine, European brand, that is not represented in Phuket or Thailand. While I think all espresso machines have a similar system disregarding the brand, I have trouble of having it repaired here. In my opinion its the pressure pump as the machine is not building up the needed pressure. Please don't suggest Boncafe. Thank you

Go to Suzuki Plaza in Phuket town, at that traffic light junction head away from the town (go straight on if coming from Robinsons McDonalds etc) As the road bends right after 20 metres there is a large piece of open ground on the left, stick to the left and then on the right there is a big place that does all electronic repairs, efficient and cheap.

Years ago were the Samsung repair agent. Had 2 fridges repaired there, lasted a few months, with only one month guarantee. Never been back.
