Hi, will be transferring a lot of land in June in bulks of 1.3-1.5mb purchases (multiples) i remember a few months back reading about the tax rate being reduced ? Is this still in play? I believe around 0.1% at the time.

The article you link talks about proposed changes to annual property tax rates not sale of property transfer tax rates.

Transfer tax rates were reduced sometime in October 2015 but change ended on 28 April 2016.

Can anybody tell me what the current (14/6/2016) transfer tax rate is please?

The transfer fee is 2% but there are other taxes also due at time of transfer. The contract should state who pays. The 2% transfer fee usually split between buyer/seller. All other taxes/fees should be paid by seller.
