Savannakhet - is the bridge opened on week-end? - and already several visas in French passport

Featured Replies

Hello,

I'm planning to go to Savannakhet on July 17, which is a Sunday.

1-)

Is the bridge opened on Sundays?

I don't find any information about that.

I'll then go to the Thai Embassy on Monday morning... get passport back on Tuesday afternoon...

2-)

I already got 3 thais visas in my French passport: 2 (1 double entry + 1 single entry) from Savannakhet and 1 double entry from Vientiane.

+ many exemptions.

Is it possible for me to get another Thai visa at Savannakhet consulate?

I have been staying in Thailand since April 2014... abusing the exempt and visa system. I know that's wrong and I should find a better visa for my situation. Will do as soon as all the required documents to officially marry my Thaï "wife"/girlfriend will be ready...

Thank you for your answers smile.png

  1. Yes

If you don't have any warning stamps form past applications then it's likely Savannakhet will issue another. Unfortunately no one can give you a definitive answer.

The bridge is open, unless they have to raise it for a big ship passing through.cheesy.gif
