webfact Posted June 6, 2016 Share Posted June 6, 2016 Meet the runt of the litter - Peculiar Pig wows Korat villagersDaily NewsKORAT: -- Villagers in Korat have been wowed by a very strange sight - a weirder than weird piglet that looks more like a monkey!All of the others in the litter were perfectly normal 'triffic trotters'. But 'Del Boy' is a right weird geezer - though of course everyone has fallen in love with the runt of the litter.Named in Thai as "Jao Bun Lai" (one of much merit) he is a male born to a mum called Mali in the small village of Noan Phiban in Nakorn Ractchasima in the north east of Thailand reported Daily News. Owner Wilaiporn Kampanawan, 60, said that he has got something that looks like a small trunk or proboscis. His eyes are stuck together and he has no piggy nostrils but otherwise he is behaving like your average piglet.He has to breathe through his mouth and so far won't take Mali's milk so they are feeding him with the help of a syringe. Oh My goodness, the eyes aren't on opposite sides of the head. Nothing like a pig? More like monkey. Perhaps best they should cook him before a DNA test might be done? "Food for thought" ??? Just looked at the Daily news and the ears look like dogs ears. A set of teeth and a chin like a monkey. Puts a whole new meaning to "pig dog" ???
