having a question about a young rubber farm - lots of weed growing , especially now at rain season ---- mowing it and spraying ... but dont´t feel to happy with that ...

any ideas about plants can grow around rubber to reduce yard or animals (not harming the trees) and eat the yard ....

There is a topic in Stickies. Titled Rubber Trees. I wouldn't use weed killer near young trees if at all. Get someone with a weed whacker in there.

Geese are also good at keeping the greenery short, you'll have to cut it first mind, they like young shoots.

Of course they also lay delicious eggs :P

Just post your question, they don't bite. You can use search for anything specific.

If they are under 3 years old, hire someone with a rototiller attachment for their tractor.

That's what I used on my place and works a charm

Someone in Chiang Mai asked me if I knew where he could buy some weed a while ago. He said everyone was lookng for it. I had no idea what he was talking about. Maybe you should take it there. Just a thought!

How old r your trees.? If less than 1 year try pinaple or pawpaw. Once they get to 2 or 3 years old b very careful as rubber trees have surface roots . Disturbing these roots will b a very bad idea. Yes well worth looking on lickety's thread on the rubber trees. A wealth of knowledge on the subject..
