Potential pedophilia sex scandal brewing at one of Thailand's oldest secondary schools

BANGKOK:-- Claims have been made online that a teacher at a prestigious secondary school has been having sex with students then posting clips on Twitter.

Multiple images of the teacher have been posted by him on Twitter with his victims' faces plain to see. Only his own is obscured. It has been going on for years and has been covered up with other teachers aware of what was going on, it is alleged. Several Twitter images were posted to a Facebook page.

The claims have been made on Facebook on a student page of the school in question that has a campus in the Phra Nakorn area of Bangkok, reported Manager Online.

The page shows a connection to a Twitter account that had around twenty clips posted of a male teacher allegedly having sex with students enrolled at the 13 - 18 all male secondary school and other schools. Brazen captions are included.

The teacher is alleged to be in the science department and has been at the school for many years. Previous incidents have been hushed up with settlements made, it is alleged. The teacher was not named.

The post alleges that the clips on Twitter show the teacher engaging in sex with children without a condom. It calls for action to be taken against the teacher concerned saying that criminal charges should be brought against him and that this must not be allowed to be covered up any more.

The story was reported on The Manager Online news site. No comments from the school administration or police were included in the story.

The unnamed school was reportedly founded in the late 1800s and is believed to be one of the oldest in Thailand.

That sounds like a bizarre place to post such images.

Generally peadophiles don't post on such open forums/media sites.

Really? I know several village girls that have been married off to older Thai guys when they are 13 and 14. A teacher at our local school is a known predator of the teenage girls there. He is still there after several girls were forced to leave the school after complaining.

Whilst I agree that there are some prosecutions it is my firm belief most of the abuse is swept under the carpet.

If it's true that this has happened before and that the school has covered it up by paying hush money, then the school authorities should be held accountable, ie, dismissed. Same situation as the creepy bishop in Australia who knew about rogue priests and did nothing. Unfortunately that guy is all powerful in Rome and we will see the same situation in Thailand because these people are connected by definition.

Surprising , the royal commission into this sort of behaviour in OZ has uncovered an enormous amount of cover ups , I don't think there is very many schools or institutions that have not been affected in some way and it is still going on , the press in this item seem to know this has been on going , everyone knows, especially the teenagers ,he is a science teacher, pay offs to other faculty members , pardon me but if u all know so much why hasn't he been reported ................................................

I think the creepy one is about to resign , but even the good ol satvo's are in the mix as well, and this enquiry was started by PM Gillard back in 2007.

I 've been teaching here since 2010. In most of the schools doesn't matter if it is Prathoum or secondary school i have met similar guys and girls. Very often in the top management was more than suspicious.

If it is known that he has been doing this for years, AND brazenly posting the photos online, then the school management should be fired en-masse. Apparently, it seems common-knowledge what he was doing and the teacher in question seems unconcerned about this since he publishes these photos on 'open' websites.

BANGKOK — A science teacher at one of Thailand’s most prestigious all-boy schools was suspended today after reportedly admitting to having sex with numerous students and posting videos of the abuse on Twitter.

After his explicit Twitter account surfaced last night, the teacher, named as Saroj Meepai, was placed under two separate investigations by both Suankularb Wittayalai School and education authorities. Saroj is said to have confessed to having sex with underage male students, some of whom he paid.

Several schools here that are no more then a cash cow for the owners have had it happen that a farang teacher gets caught but instead of firing him and bring scandle to the school and have dozens of families withdraw their kids from the school.They will try to negocate with the teacher into leaving .I heard of one school givine the teacher 10 days with no pay and he is backed to work as if nothing happened.

I think what he meant is that tha bib and government officals have been known for years to keep exclusive "clubs" where they keep their private stock of women for the group's pleasure and somf of the stock are underage.

I wonder, when I read posts by people arguing over the semantics of the word 'Paedophile' why it bothers them so much?

Look at this case, teacher has sex with pupils and posts photos of the sex on line in which the faces of the pupils can be seen.

In this instance it reads that the victims are aged from 13 to 18 so I would think they are not prepubescent.

But neither Hebophilia and or Ephebophilia have the right amount of click bait worthiness for a news article/thread title that Pedophilia attracts.
